What a percolation area does
The percolation area is the network of pipes and stone in the ground that lets treated water from your tank soak away safely. If it fails, wastewater can pond on the surface or reach drains, wells and streams.
Signs it has failed
- Wet, soggy or very green ground over the pipes

- Slow drains even after the tank has been emptied
Replacement options

It depends on the site and the type of system. We give a fixed price after a site visit. If it follows a failed inspection, the grant can cover 85% up to €12,000.
